The Turkish National Anthem and Mehmet Akif Ersoy Symposium
Dear Academicians and Researchers;
As is known, 2021 was declared as "The Year of Mehmet Akif and the National Anthem" with the Presidential Circular. Within the framework of this decision, The Turkish National Anthem and Mehmet Akif Ersoy Symposium will be held on 4-5th November, 2021 by Pamukkale University in order to better understand the national importance of the National Anthem and to commemorate its poet. In this symposium, it is aimed to examine the National Anthem and Mehmet Akif Ersoy not only in the field of social sciences but also in the light of all disciplines and to commemorate him with a new perspective and technological opportunities.
Mehmet Âkif Ersoy and the National Anthem Symposium are of national nature. Abstracts of the papers will be evaluated by the arbitral committee and the papers deemed appropriate to be included in the program will be announced on the symposium page. The symposium is planned to be held face-to-face at Pamukkale University. This situation will be revisited according to the conditions of the pandemic on the dates of the symposium and, if necessary, the symposium will be held online. The papers presented at our symposium and whose full texts are accepted by the scientific board will be published in print within the year 2021, under the title of Mehmet Akif Ersoy Memorial Book.
