GRAPHIC DESIGN PROGRAMME
Visual communication art graphic design, which combines the function of announcing a message to the target audience through visual communication, develops the ability of visual communication art, theoretical and practical, conceptual problem solving, combining creativity and aesthetic level effectively.
The graphic design program aims to educate self-confident designers who are technically and aesthetically trained, can analyze the environment and age, have researcher and creative potential to solve design problems, and are equipped with the abilities to adapt to the dynamic structure of the communication age.
General admission requirements for Turkish and foreign students apply to the program. Students are accepted in accordance with the legislation determined by the Council of Higher Education.
HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL TRANSITIONS
The student moves horizontally and vertically in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
Students have to pass all the courses in the program, 120 ECTS-ECTS credits and the overall GPA should be at least 2.30 out of 4.00. This program requires 30 days of internship.
Level 5 academic and professional qualifications are given within the framework of national occupational standards related to the program, knowledge, skills, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, creativity and evaluation.
The graduates of the Graphic Design Program of the Department of Design are "Graphic Design Associate Degree Program". These graduates can find jobs in all areas where visual design is used in advertising agencies, press broadcasters and television channels. In addition, the growing trade volume at national and international level is increasing the need for effective promotion for the market day by day, and the expanding business areas for Graphic Designers.
