Rules for e-mail use

 

1) E-MAIL PRIVACY POLICY;


a) "User names" concerning e-mail addresses, will be designated by the (Bilgi İşlem Daire Başkanlığ) "passwords "are set by the person applying for the e-mail addresses. 
b) "User Names" are personal, the same "user name" cannot be given to two different people.
c) "Passwords" are known only by the user. The user can change the password at any time. Password selection and protection is entirely the responsibility of the user's. Pamukkale University, Department of Information Processing (Bilgi İşlem Daire Başkanlığ), is not liable for any problems arising from use of the passwords.
d) Passwords that are forgotten can be reset at the Department of Information Technology (Bilgi İşlem Daire Başkanlığ) e-mail address holders must apply in person. Passwords cannot be given over the phone.

 

2) OBLIGATIONS OF E-MAIL ADDRESS HOLDER;


i) It is in the own responsibility of applicants to fill in the registration form correctly and accurately. Any loss or damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information is not the in the responsibility of Pamukkale University (Bilgi İşlem Daire Başkanlığ), BİDB has the right to refuse or cancel e-mail addresses.  
ii) E-mail service users are responsible for any thoughts, expressions, personal ideas put forward by them. Department of Information Processing (Bilgi İşlem Daire Başkanlığ) or Pamukkale University , cannot be held liable for any problems, disputes that may arise from such material, files etc. 
iii) any software or material  able to cause harm or damage to Pamukkale University, its web-site, services, or other people or organizations that is stored, shared or found to be associated to e-mail account holders  have a criminal liability and criminal, legal penalties may be applied to persons involved.  Pamukkale University takes no responsibility in such disputes.

iv) (Bilgi İşlem Daire Başkanlığ)  Pamukkale University is not responsible for information, files or messages that are lost sent or received incompletely. Or and to information, files or messages sent to incorrect E-mail address during the use of the e-mail service.

v) Pamukkale University(Bilgi İşlem Daire Başkanlığ)   is not responsible for any harm or loss, (the reading of personal information, documents etc. by unauthorized persons) that my come to the user of the E-mail address, due to the users negligence (the users sharing of information with other people, not logging out, and so on).

vi) Threatening, immoral, racist, discriminatory, actions/messages that come against the Laws of the Republic of Turkey, or to the laws of other countries, are forbidden and will not be tolerated.

vii) Headings, communications, correspondences shared, must be good mannered and be in compliance with the rules of the law.

viii) Other users must not be threatened or harassed.
vx) you must not to behave in a way that may affect other users to use the service.
x) You must not send share any information, computer programs or software that may harm or cause loss to other users. 
xi) Pamukkale University is not responsible for, user's computer malfunctions, data loss and other losses, due to the use of the University of Pamukkale e-mail service. Any materials or applications that have been obtained are completely within the user's own consent and responsibility, compensation cannot be sought.

xii) Pamukkale University (Bilgi İşlem Daire Başkanlığ) has the right to prosecute and terminate the membership of users who act in contravention of the rules.

xiii) Users must not chain mail, send, share virus software (etc.) they must not send information that they are according to the law prohibited of posting etc.

xiv) E-mail "user" is responsible for all activities they take part in. 
xv) e-mail account users who cancel their accounts themselves are still responsible for any wrongdoings that have taken place during the time of their membership.
xvi) Signing this agreement means that the user has read and that they have no objection to any of the points stated below and above.
